ok. on the first few weeks of the holidays, I was preparing for my piano concert held at Lee Foundation Theatre nevt to NAFA. Wasn't really a success though. The guest of honour (an ang mo) said I played too fast and dun hav the Beethoven style. Lol. I just worked really hard. Next was the National Piano Competition held on 5th Dec.- 15th Dec. 12 yrs and below are in the junior category so I'm the oldest in it. Anyway, because of my working hard, I passed the quarter's which consists of 82 ppl and the semi's of 18 ppl. I went into the finals which comprises of 6 ppl and guess what? I was 4th. That means I din win. :( The first goes to a non nafa student by the name of Clarence Neoh Kai Yang who won himself 800 dollars. The next and third is from nafa and got 400 and 200 respectively. And you noe what I won? A certificate of Merit. Better than nothing... The rest who din get to the finals got cert. of participation. And the prize winners got cert. of distintion. sad.sad. Anyway, it's a good experience. So after that, I went back to Indonesia. (To be continued...)
